About VerleyHome

An independent editorial resource on thermal insulation and eco renovation in Poland.

Energy-efficient home exterior with sustainable building features

What VerleyHome Is

VerleyHome is a Warsaw-based editorial resource focused on thermal insulation, sustainable renovation methods, and energy performance standards as they apply to residential buildings in Poland.

The site was established in 2022 to address a gap in Polish-language and English-language coverage: most renovation content either stops at surface-level overviews or is tied to specific product manufacturers. VerleyHome aims to provide material-neutral, regulation-accurate information for homeowners, small developers, and contractors researching their options.

Content is reviewed annually and updated whenever significant regulatory or market changes occur — such as revisions to the Warunki Techniczne standards or changes to subsidy programme conditions.

3+ Years of coverage
12+ In-depth articles
100% Independent, no paid placement

Editorial Approach

All articles are written from publicly available data: Polish building regulations (Warunki Techniczne), EU directives (EPBD), technical datasheets from standards bodies (ITB, POBE), and government subsidy documentation (NFOŚiGW, BGK).

No manufacturer pays for inclusion in any comparison or list. Where specific products appear by name, they do so because they represent typical market examples or are mentioned in public regulatory guidance.

Correction requests are reviewed and responded to within five working days. Factual errors are corrected and the correction noted at the bottom of the relevant article with a date.
